My name is Brogan and I’m 18 years old. I’ve been involved with ForeverU for two years. I first got involved in June 2019 the beginning of my junior year of high school. My local newspaper ran an article that featured ForeverU and their mission to empower youth and promote healthy social development. This sparked my interest because I was searching for a group that I could feel comfortable with sharing my feelings. I enjoy ForeverU, because this program makes me feel happy. We talk about how we’re feeling inside of us and what is happening to us in the world. Then in 2020 life changed because of COVID-19. Weekly in-person meeting’s became restricted because of social distancing and Ryan moved the meeting to an online zoom format. This helped me stay connected to my peers without feeling isolated. I enjoy ForeverU because they help me discover creative and new learning skills that help me to maintain my mental health in school and at home. I am so grateful to be part of the ForeverU family. To those who believe in our work and financially support our mission, thank you for giving me a capable support system and thank you for helping me become a confident with sharing my story.
